Work Visa to New Zealand
Work visas enable the Applicant to work on a long term basis or a temporary basis in New Zealand.
Long term work visas are available for an applicant with exceptional talent in the arts, culture or sport as well as for an applicant who is qualified ion a highly specialized field or a field in-demand. This visa allows the applicant to work in New Zealand for a long period of time as a step towards gaining permanent residence.
If you are an employee of a relocating company you are also able to obtain a long term work permit /visa and later a resident permit- refer to the business migration section above.
Temporary work visas/permits are available for an applicant that has a job offer from a New Zealand employer. The applicant needs to prove to the New Zealand Immigration Services that he/she is skilled in the occupation in which he/she has found employment. In addition, temporary work visas/permits are issued to an applicant who is traveling to New Zealand for a specific purpose or specific event.
New Zealand has also created the opportunity for tourists/visitors between the ages of 18-30 to obtain a Working Holiday Visa in certain circumstances. Working Holiday visas are available to applicants from certain specified countries and are issued for a period of 12 months during which the Applicant is able to remain in New Zealand and work in various types of employment. Holders of Israeli passports are not eligible for such a visa.
